Drawing and painting doesn’t need extravagant or professional tools, it’s enough if you just start with a simple pen, and use your heart, feelings and emotions. A pen is like a boat and the lines it makes are like the waves. Go sailing on the waves!

Last week we opened the exhibition “Imagine All the People Living in Peace…” by Davood Mantegh here at Queen Gallery, and everybody loved the work. Each of his drawings has its own special character. The simple way that he makes them answers to the feeling of the audience and the audience infers the meaning. His drawings are like poetry and invoke reminiscing, daydreaming, through your own thoughts and feelings. Because everyone wants to know how he makes these simple, beautiful drawings, we have invited the artist to give a free workshop here on Saturday, April 24th from 1-5pm. If you are interested in seeing how it’s done please join us. And as a special bonus, the artist will be taking drawing requests!
