During a program entitled Films of My Life, the two visionaries will speak with the author and film scholar Antonio Monda, the festival’s artistic director, about the movies that have influenced their work. This is the third year that Mr. Monda has offered New Yorkers a taste of the popular event he hosts each year on the island of Capri. Among the films the trio will discuss are four of Mr. Libeskind’s favorites – “Eyes Without a Face” (1960), a French-Italian horror film directed by Georges Franju; “The Consequences of Love” (2004), an Italian psychological thriller directed by Paolo Sorrentino; the Hitchcock mainstay “North by Northwest” (1959); and “This is Not a Film” (2011), an Iranian documentary by Jafar Panahi and Mojtaba Mirtahmasb – and four that Ms. Abramovíc has found inspirational – “The Color of Pomegranates” (1968), an Armenian film written and directed by Sergei Parajanov; “Teorema” (1968), a mystery written and directed by Pier Paolo Pasolini; “Last Year at Marienbad” (1961), the French classic directed by Alain Resnais; and “Breaking the Waves” (1996) directed by Lars von Trier.
