Living Future 2009: Cultivating Leadership

Living Future, the Unconference for deep green professionals, is the Cascadia Region Green Building Council’s signature event focused on identifying real solutions that will create significant change in the built environment. This year’s theme is "Cultivating Leadership," and the interactive sessions are intended to foster the creativity, courage and collaboration our leaders need to shift global consciousness and transform the market. Keynote speakers include Janine Benyus, internationally acclaimed author of Biomimicry: Innovation Inspired by Nature; Rick Fedrizzi, President and CEO of USGBC; Thomas Crum, renowned conflict resolution expert; and Jason McLennan, CEO of Cascadia. Cascadia is the largest Chapter of both the U.S. and Canada Green Building Councils; major initiatives include the Living Building Challenge and the Pharos Project.
