Calling all A+D enthusiasts in New York City! Designer Pages has just launched our first series of Meetups in Manhattan for members and friends of the architecture and design community. September 10th marks our kick-off event with dynamic presentations, conversation and refreshments courtesy of Abita Beer at the showroom of our good friends over at Gunlocke.
Guy Geier, FXFOWLE Senior Partner, will be the first to speak about an exciting new LEED Platinum-certified building for the Rockefeller Brothers Foundation located out in Westchester. And as a fun new addition to the program, emerging Brooklyn-based furniture designer and BKLYN DESIGNS/ICFF exhibitor Hugh Hayden will speak about new furniture collections, a few cool collaborations and the process of starting a one-man design studio from scratch.
**Special bonus! To ensure maximum participation before and during this event, Designer Pages will be raffling off an Apple iTouch to the Meetup and Twitter member who tweets about our Meetup and Gunlocke most often with the hashtag #nycad. Details forthcoming.
