Support A+D Museum, travel to a parallel world, and get an early start on your Holiday Shopping!

Please join A+D Museum for a special inCOLLABORATION with Artist and Geographer-at-Large Eames Demetrios as he tells stories and reads selections from the Museum of the Bench Trading Card collection—the latest publication from his worldwide project Kcymaerxthaere.

Kcymaerxthaere is a global work of 3-dimensional story telling. It is an alternative universe that is largely consistent with our linear world and is, in a way, a bit like a novel with each page in a different place. So far, the stories have been placed on over 89 markers and sites in 19 countries on six continents so far. Reading the markers and sites in situ is a transformative experience that connects visitor and readers to possibilities and stories by unmooring them for a time from our linear world. And storytellings like this evenings are another essential part of the project.  More information at http://www.kcymaerxthaere.com.  On offer at the Pop-Up Shop throughout the evening are books, cards, embroideries and other talismans of the parallel world.

Eames Demetrios will be available to sign Trading Cards, books and other Kcymaerxthaere exports following the reading.  A+D Museum will benefit from the sales at this Pop-Up Shop.

Pop-Up Shop: 6.30pm - 8.30pm
Reception: 6.30pm
Reading and Stories by Eames Demetrios: 7.00pm
Drinks and hor d’oeuvres to be served.
