Oslo Architecture Triennale is founded on the belief that architecture and design of the built environment concerns everyone. The Oslo Architecture Triennale 2010 is to be held from 22. 09 - 03.10, located at several venues in the capital. Many of the arrangements are targeted for a broader audience interested in issues related to the city's development and future. The opening, the main conference and the side conferences will be held at and nearby Youngstorget, one of Oslos main public squares with strong historical and political references. Our ambition is to develop Oslo Architecture Triennale into an important forum for communication and debate on architecture and urban development, and as a networking opportunity for professionals, press and audience from all over the world. Through exhibitions, lectures, debates, conferences and seminars and other events Oslo Architecture Triennale contributes to interest, research and increased knowledge about architecture in society. At the same time, the Triennale should be a window to Norwegian architecture. Oslo Architecture Triennal is an association. The members are National Association of Norwegian Architects (NAL), Oslo Architect Association (OAF), The Oslo School of Architecture and Design (AHO), Norsk Form (Norwegian Centre for Design and the Built Environment) and Oslo Teknopol. www.oslotriennale.no
