Joseph Rykwert discusses the challenges confronting the future of cities, with emphasis on the changing cultural, social and historical narrative of Polish cities since the fall of Communism in 1989. Rykwert, whose research examines the complex relationship between architecture and the city, is one of the world’s foremost authorities on the history of art and architecture.
