Social Conversation: Moving Along the Lines

Moving Along the Lines is the next event from the DESIGNCIRCUIT summer series. It will take place this Thursday, July 12th at 7PM at Chelsea Piers. The event will feature guest speaker Eduardo Benamor Duarte from Benamor Duarte Architects. The talk will present a series of architecture prototypes and unrealized projects engaging an uncommon and systematic synthesis between geometry, material and use. Benamor Duarte’s work results from a unique process based on the recursion of a bi dimensional interpolation technique as a way to explore and investigate the prefiguration of a design concept. This approach aims to develop the idea of adaptation and scale by transposing the registers of the figurative and geometry drawing techniques to the materiality of a furniture piece, a building block or a space.
