A week of activities that reinforce connections between design and the community through walking tours, museum visits, and art and design projects.

Summer studios run Monday through Friday, 9am-4pm at the Center for Architecture in Greenwich Village. The fee for each studio week is $400. Classes are limited to 16 students.

July 13 – 17 Studio II: Calling SoHo…
For Students entering grades 7 - 9

In this studio, we’ll explore the SoHo neighborhood South of Houston Street, famous today as center for art and fashion and home to many of NYC’s beautiful 19th C cast-iron buildings.  Students will uncover the stories these buildings and streets have to tell, and work together to create a cell phone guide to the neighborhood for families to enjoy any time of the year.
