First Friday
Mathews Nielsen Landscape Architects

6:30 pm

Join Mathews Nielsen Landscape Architects at its office for drinks, informal conversation, and a behind the scenes look at recent and upcoming projects. This program is part of First Friday, a monthly opportunity for League members to visit the offices of leading design practices to see work on the boards and learn more about the offices’ organization and design processes. These informal social gatherings feature happy hour drinks arranged by the host office.

Founded in 1993, Mathews Nielsen is a New York City-based landscape architecture firm with urban design, environmental planning, and site design projects across the United States. Recent projects include the Tribeca section of Hudson River Park, the South Bronx Greenway Master Plan, the LeFrak City Master Plan, and the soon to be opened West Point Foundry Preserve in Cold Spring, NY.

Mathews Nielsen is working to re-imagine Lower Manhattan’s waterfront with projects such as a new 8-acre park at Pier 42.

First Friday events are free and open only to League members, who may bring one non-member guest. RSVP required to .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address). To become a member and attend this program, join here.
