This is an exhibition event for the Triumph Pavilion: Peace Pavilion at the Museum Gardens after its opening by Borough’s Mayor with a reception at the V&A Museum of Childhood's Front Gallery with great view to the Pavilion within the Museum Gardens from the great south windows. The Triumph Pavilion is a yearly showcase pavilion structure to spotlight the work of an architect or design team selected from an international competition entry call by ArchTriumph to design a pavilion to be exhibited to the public. This year’s Pavilion is a design by an innovative, creative and talented practice based in Paris called Atelier Zündel Cristea (AZC), who won the Triumph Pavilion 2013 competition. The Pavilion provides an inspirational and interactive space where visiting architects, designers, families and the general public can stand, walk-through or seat around to admire and engage with each other to share discussions about design, diversity, the importance and benefits of peace and co-existence, stories of childhood or other stories in a peaceful setting. This year's “The Peace Pavilion” is also dedicated to the newly created South and North nations of Sudan as we encourage a peaceful future. Sudans were chosen, as these are two countries among many that will need architectural intervention and infrastructure improvements in the years to come and to acknowledge the little known contribution to architecture of the ancient pyramids. And the plans was originally to install a Pavilion in the Sudans. The Pavilion is expected to by sold after its exhibition to a Collector or Museum where we hope it will be exhibited by the new owners around the world in Europe, America, Asia, Middle East or Africa. This year's “The Peace Pavilion” is also dedicated to the newly created South and North nations of Sudan as we encourage a peaceful future. Next year’s Pavilion is expected to be “The Dream Pavilion”. www.archtriumph.com
