Time: 6:30 PM - 8:00 PM 30 years ago HRH Prince Charles made a speech that is often credited with transforming attitudes to modern architecture. It triggered a national debate, still raging in places today about what modern British buildings ought to look like, but how much did it really change what got built? Lively panel discussion charting the many changing faces of modern British architecture and shifting attitudes towards it across the course of the 20th century. Speakers Catherine Croft (Director, Twentieth Century Society), Owen Hatherley (Author and writer) and Hugh Pearman (Editor, RIBA Journal) chart a very British relationship with modern architecture.
