Why to Blog, Text, and Tweet Redux: Tips and Tricks

Friday, Jan 22, 20104 AMEDT

Center for Architecture, 536 Laguardia Place New York, NY | Center for Architecture, 536 Laguardia Place New York, NY

Why to Blog, Text, and Tweet Redux: Tips and Tricks When: 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM THURSDAY, JANUARY 21 Where: At The Center The Marketing and PR Committee’s second event on social media features three different case studies that demonstrate how architecture firms can create and implement plans for marketing and outreach using social media. The program demystifies social media by highlighting the tools and the various online outlets that are available to design firms. At this hands-on event, speakers from large and medium-sized firms will discuss which media they are using, which resources are needed to keep communication fresh, and how to control (or not) proprietary firm information. They will also discuss how effective these tools are for drawing attention to firms and attracting new business. The program will be largely informal to encourage audience participation and questions. Speakers: Mike Plotnick and Kimberly Dowdell, HOK http://www.hok.com Winka Dubbeldam, Archi-Tectonics http://blog.archi-tectonics.com Benjamin Prosky and Marc Kushner, Architzer http://www.architizer.com/en_us Organized by: AIANY Marketing and PR Committee Free for members; $10 for non-members http://cfa.aiany.org/index.php?section=calendar&evtid=1372&rsvid=1441&msg=
