In a time plagued by economic crisis, modern warfare, and global suffrage, it’s hard to consider anything outside of society’s present concerns. In a place stricken by poverty, hate crimes, and overwhelmed by shattered dreams and seemingly impossible-to-overcome obstacles, feelings of “love,” “healing,” and “desire” are somewhat obsolete. While the shadows of these problems may be an indication of the pain felt by millions of people across the world, the life of just one man offered enough hope to shine through to the masses.…
