Monument of Legend

The Star of Michael is an abstract monument composed of a star split into 50 slices; each slice symbolizing a year of Michael Jackson’s life. As an abstract version of a timeline, the slices rise from the landscape containing images from his legendary musical career. Each slice is a different size and contains a different image of Michael. The proportion of the monument itself remains at a human scale encouraging a more personal connection between image and visitor.
