This monument demands to be big. In fact, anything we can build is too small. We must instead cover the globe with a monumental network, an event the size of the ideas it monumentalizes. We must also think big temporally. Through drastic alterations to both his body and his art, Michael Jackson defied the limitations of time. His dream was immortality, and he pursued it sincerely. Our monumental event must also survive longer than we can imagine to inspire those not yet born to dream bigger.
