Vacuous Tears

Vacuous Tears questions society’s fascination with Celebrity rather than extolling a specific man. We propose a void with glass test tubes spaced apart on a 1x1 ft grid running the length of the space.  We encourage fans to send individual test tubes filled with their tears for MJ. Without followers, Celebrity is but an empty artifice. Our proposal celebrates the follower by exposing the devotion each individual has to a Celebrity but, also questions the power behind their tears.
